I highly recommend Elizabeth and the interview skills clinic. Elizabeth helped me prepare for an interview for a Civil Service Grade 6 role and the three sessions gave me the confidence and skills needed to get the job. As someone who has struggled with interviews in the past I now have the skills to confidently tackle senior Civil Service interviews for the years to come. Elizabeth has a complete understanding the civil service behaviours and interview format so it felt like getting insider knowledge which proved to be essential. Thanks again to Elizabeth and the team.

Elizabeth is an outstanding interview coach whom I highly recommend. Her sessions helped me overcome insecurities as a non-native speaker working in higher education, boosting my confidence and highlighting my skills and abilities. Elizabeth’s calm and kind attitude helped me to stay grounded, but also guided me back to my strengths when I felt lost during the interview, ultimately leading to the attainment of my dream job. I am immensely grateful for her support and look forward to future collaborations.

Elizabeth is a very supportive coach. I was applying for a Business Analyst role and within an hour of a second interview I was called back by the company to let me know that they really liked me and offered me the job. I thought I knew how to use the STAR approach before but Elizabeth has a unique interpretation of it and I was complimented on my response. What really helped me was the way she broke the STAR up for me in a way which was relevant to the role and sector I was going for. My interview felt much more like a conversation. I learnt a lot and feel so much more confident in interviews

After five years abroad,I decided to re enter the London job market. Having used Elizabeth's services before, I did not hesitate to contact her again. With her guidance and support I was successful in getting offers from multiple companies. Elizabeth is sincere and cares about her clients and their job satisfaction beyond the remit of her role as an interview coach, her many years of experience give her a discerning eye and she can predict in a very short space of time what her clients need and how to get them from A to B. I would recommend her wholeheartedly. She also goes out of her way to make time for her clients and is very punctual and organised.

Interview coaching with Matt was exactly what I needed. My skills were rusty and I'd lost confidence. I really liked Matt's direct but supportive approach. I was out of my comfort zone during the sessions (which was good!) but through practice my confidence grew and learning took place. I now have an excellent structure to work with for future interviews. I'm very grateful for Matt's help. Thank you.

I was feeling insecure in my communication skills when I met with Elizabeth for a mock interview. Her knowledge paired with her straightforward approach meant that in one hour we had covered a number of actionable insights that instantly boosted my confidence. I walked into the interview with a clear plan (and renewed belief in my competence) and dare I say I even enjoyed it! Thank you for doing what you do!

Matthew has been incredibly supportive and helpful throughout my application process (on multiple occasions. With his support, I was able to land my first civil service role. He put a lot of effort and enthusiasm into every session. His techniques were incredibly helpful and I have learnt skills that I will continue to use throughout my career. Couldn’t recommend more.

Elizabeth is a fabulous coach. Following her coaching, I had two coaching sessions I got a senior programme manager role in the Civil Service, it was a very complex role. I offered the job and I was told my interview was excellent!! Elizabeth gave me such detailed and insghtful feedabck I was able to reshape all my Behaviour answers and went into the interview feeling much more confident. Thank you Elizabeth

Elizabeth's coaching made a huge difference. I was struggling with getting a permanent role at the University despite knowing I had all the experience I needed. The interview was challenging with lots of situational questionsand I didn't know where I was going wrong. Elizabeth was able to demonstrate how to rephase my answers in a way which the Interviewers wanted. We had two coaching sessions and her advice was invaluable, the interview went exceptionally well and I got the job. Thank you so much for your time and support.

I had never done a UK Civil Service interview, and had never worked with a coach before - and I needed urgent help to prepare for an application. I found Mathew Eastlake during an online search and I had no idea what to expect. 4 sessions later I can honestly say it was probably the best investment of my life. Not only did Matt help me ace the interview and secure the role, but during our sessions I also learned so much more about my strengths and weaknesses. In just 4 sessions I learned how to focus my answers and present myself in the best possible way. I could not have gotten the role without Matt - that is the truth. Elizabeth provided totally invaluable advice and support helping to get my CV fit for purpose. Overlong and rambling I had got to the stage where I was hiding from the necessary task of getting it into shape. Elizabeth made a transformation, slimmed it down and helped me to make it clear and purposeful. I have had as much work as I wanted and received much praise for my tidy resume. Elizabeth’s personal approach really helped me build back my confidence, which was particularly low at that point in time. Supportive and informative, her training gave me the confidence and skills needed to both continue to search for the right jobs, but also to perform at my best in during interviews – leading to multiple offers. After having sessions with both Chista and Elizabeth before my Cambridge interviews I can say with great confidence that they were extremely worthwhile and my confidence improved massively in the few sessions that I had. Elizabeth worked wonders in getting me to be more confident when talking about my personal achievements and qualities and Chista helped tremendously with discussing my subject. I received an offer for Law this week! Many thanks to you both and I know the advice will stand me in good stead for my future career.

I would definitely recommend the interview skills clinic. My session with Chista was really useful in understanding the different types of interview questions and how to best structure answers as I had never had an interview before.
I also suffer with bad interview anxiety and lack of confidence and she was great at making me feel more relaxed and confident about my upcoming interview. All of this led me to getting the offer, so thank you Chista!!

I would thoroughly recommend Interview Skills Clinic. Their approach to improving responses; via an initial discussion and preparation pack, followed by a tailored interview was superb. I cannot recommend Elizabeth enough! Before we met, I had awful interview anxiety and low self esteem, however, within only one session this had all changed significantly.
Elizabeth is approachable, down to earth, gets to the point, and genuinely cares about her clients- both in and out of sessions.
She has really made a difference in not only how I answer interview questions but my general approach and mindset towards them.
I must say that this is the best money I have ever spent.

Matthew and Elizabeth were both fantastic in helping me with a recent job application and interview preparation for a civil service role.
Matthew is expert at what he does and provided invaluable advice on what to include in my personal statement. Over two Skype sessions he helped me identify and highlight the skills and experience relevant to the role I was seeking and advised me on preparing my application. He is very knowledgable and clearly has a wealth of experience which he shares as he provides constructive feedback. I learnt a lot from Matthew and this undoubtedly helped me secure an interview for a role I really wanted.
I struggle with interview anxiety and have now worked with Elizabeth on two occasions to help me prepare for important interviews. Elizabeth is patient and understanding and she really ‘gets’ how it is for nervous candidates, quickly putting me at ease. On this most recent occasion she helped me understand again what to get across during an interview and suggested strategies to help me deal with the anxiety which really did work. Elizabeth is great! The most important thing I learned from Elizabeth was the importance and effectiveness of tailoring your pitch to the role you’re going for. She supported me in a public sector opportunity which required a very different approach from the one I was taking. She was no-nonsense, down to earth and helped focus on difficult answers and practice to get the result I wanted. With this practice in the bank, I did well on the interview and was able to secure a great job as a result. If you’re unsure or need a bit of focus on interview technique, I’d recommend her completely.
