I booked two quite last minute interview preparation sessions with the Interview Skills Clinic. They were very accommodating and helpful at a stressful time. I had two interview prep sessions with Matthew Eastlake who was very supportive. He had taken a detailed look at the job specification I had for the role and was able to guide me successfully in what the employer was looking for, how best i could construct and prepare my answers, convey my enthusiasm for the work and generally present myself more confidently. After having a number of interviews where i felt I hadn’t presented myself to the best of my ability, I can say that these sessions really helped. I finished the interview feeling that I had brought my best to it and was offered the role! Thank you Matthew and ISC.

Hi Annie-May, I was very pleased that you were offered this role and I believe you will be a very strong addition to their team. You worked hard to prepare for the interview given the required approach was different to those you had experienced previously. I hope the new role goes well and please keep in touch. Matt

I had a session with Elizabeth which was amazing. It helped me understand what i was doing wrong at the interviews but mostly helped gain some confidence which is really important to an interview. I found the job I wanted a month after our session . They are great professionals and great people

I had 2 sessions with Elizabeth to prepare for several interviews I had coming up. Few things were very helpful for me: learning how to construct the answers. What words to use to express confidence. How to engage with the panel. And how to get better at speaking. The recording of the sessions is incredibly useful, I was able to look back over and over and practice, and.. I got the job! Thank you Elizabeth!

Matthew was a pleasure to work with coaching me on round 1 and 2 of interviews with the civil service which I passed. He was very responsive, extremely positive, helping me to realise my full potential and pushing me to perform to my best. He is very knowledgeable on the civil service and the standard required to pass the interview stages. I’m very glad I contacted Interview skills clinic and I would definitely recommend Matthew for anything related to interview coaching!

I am so grateful to Elizabeth for helping me to get my dream job in the civil service. I had thought that I just wasn’t very good at interviews, but Elizabeth gave me the confidence and skills to excel in an interview setting. She provided advice for how to answer both competency and strength-based questions, she helped me to select my best examples, and she gave me honest feedback while also building up my confidence. It was amazing how much she was able to squeeze into a session, which she recorded so I could reference later. My sessions with Elizabeth were expensive, but it was honestly the best money I spent all year. I will undoubtedly go back to Elizabeth the next time I’m preparing for a job interview, and I would highly recommend Interview Skills Clinic to anyone looking to advance their career.

I went to these guys about doing a week before doing an interview. We spoke through my existing competencies with Chista and what I could improve, over the course of an hour and a half. Happily, I passed the interview! I think the clinic gave me more of an insight into how behaviours are scored, and how to structure my responses.

The Interview Skills Clinic were excellent, really amenable with my chaotic schedule and fitting me in when they could. The coaching given is second to none, and really focuses your mind on the specifics of adapting your examples to the specific factors required for the job and what criteria need to be outlined in your examples during the interview. They were very honest about were you needed to improve, and gave you clear and constructive direction on how to do that. It was also really helpful to have the follow-up sessions and review how your interview techniques were developing, and where you could tweak your answers. It’s expensive, but worth every penny to get that job. Thanks again for the super support. 🙂

After a string of unsuccessful interviews severely knocking my confidence, I sought help from the Interview Skills Clinic. I had 3 sessions in total with Chista and she was absolutely amazing! The first session was general interview skills practice and Chista gave me so much useful advice, which I could then go away and work on. The other 2 sessions were tailored specifically for interviews I had coming up. Chista took the time to carefully go through the job specs and make the practice interviews relevant to those specific roles. This allowed me to prepare answers to questions which I had not previously thought of, some of which came up in the interviews!

Chista was extremely encouraging throughout, which allowed me to build my confidence back up. She sent me good luck messages in the morning of my interviews, which I thought was very thoughtful, and she was always available to answer any last minute questions I had.

After the sessions with Chista, I actually ended up being offered 2 out of 3 jobs that I had interviews for, so I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thanks a lot Chista!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review Alicia, and what wonderful news about your 2 job offers, many congratulations! I really enjoyed working with you and learning about your admirable work for the WHO and Students for Global Health. It’s clear that you’re very passionate about your work and I have no doubt that you brought this out during the course of your interviews. My best wishes to you for your new role and for the future – I’m confident that you will continue to shine. All the best, Chista
